Alright, it's been a while since I uploaded an image for Lion (haven't actually done a retail one, only given installers). Torrent contains a self-extractor you just need to run and a link to a tutorial that'll talk you through what you gotta do for it to run properly. Contains like every fix possible, and should run as a real Mac. VMware Tools are there, along with video drivers and all that lot. Can contact me if you need help (my email is included in the torrent). I'd recommend an email rather than commenting on here if it's urgent. Cheers, seeders are appreciated.
If my notebook does not support hardware virtualization can I still run this in VMware? TIA.
@press2010 Yes, there's a way around that included in the tutorial video, but you'd need v7.1.3 or 7.1.4 of VMware, and not the newest one (yet)

Thanks for the info. I have VMWare Workstation 7.1.3 so I will give it a go.

I have trouble starting it, when I try to be a box up that says "Mac OS X is not supported with software virtualization. To Run Mac OS X, you need a host on Which VMware Workstation Supports hardware virtualization." Does anyone know what the problem is? excuse my bad english!
@per95
That means that you need a better cpu, one that handle hardware virtualization. You can check yours with this software from GRC:

okay, do you know what I need for hardware to run it?
Two questions:
1. Does this work with WinXP as the host? I have XP Pro running on a dual-core AMD processor that says it does hardware virtualization according to grc.com. I run tons of VirtualBox VMs on it. I followed your video instructions to the "T" for VMWare Workstation 8, but I get the error that says my hardware won't work when the VM is started. BTW, there is no "disable UAC" for XP, only Vista & Win7.
2. Will this run in VirtualBox?

This downloaded as an executable that was checked and showed a password stealer trojan Win32/Prast!rts as being included. I'll try another version.
For those running AMD, you won't have much success, I have tried it on a number of machines and it looks like Lion (and other OS versions) can only be installed on an Intel based machine, unless someone has a solution that does work.
I need some help I am a pc user and I was just given a Mac Book a1181 laptop but someone has erased hard drive and installed Win 7 on this machine I would like to put OS X back on this computer. Is it possible to download OS X on a windows machine and do full install on this laptop? Someone please help....Kristopher_1@live.com
@John Yeah, one of the hardware patches is detected as a virus, but it's just because of the way it's constructed and what it was built with, it's a false report
Hey Soul how about helping me out can you tell me if there is a way from a windows 7 computer I can burn a OS X disc for full install on a mac book. I will check back here or email me if you will at Kristopher_1@live.com
why you people tryin so hard to run Mac OS X on ur pc, lol, u really need that bad go buy a real 1 not this fake 1 :)
I'm not tring to run OS X on a pc I'm trying to reload on a Mac Book a1181 and the only computers I have available are Windows 7 systems
This release did not work for me on VirtualBox/AMD64. The previous release of Snow Leopard ( http://thepiratebay.ee/torrent/6589590/Mac_OS_X_Snow_Leopard_10.6.8_VMware_Image_%5BUltimate_Final_Build%5D ) did boot using the included EmpireEFI4AMD.iso. But Lion does not. Maybe it needs an updated boot loader.
Why the right click disables after a certain running time ? First time i thought it was because of updating the iTunes at the latest version, second time i used the original mac os lion vmx image and after i installed the yahoo messenger, the right click button disabled. Is there a bug, a fix or i'm doing something wrong? In the "install after boot" folder i found a vmmouse package, there were 2 "drivers", but none of them could be selected (grey selection box).
@press2010 Actually, if your computer doesn't support hardware virtualization, you can't run any OS on a VM.
SEEED SEEDSEEDSEED SEEED SEEDSEEDSEED...SEEDSEEDSEED...SEEDSEEDSEED...ONLY 2KB/S...HOLY CRAP...COME-ON GUYS, SEED!

Any help is greatly appreciated!
If you guys get an Error or it will only halt at the Apple logo, on the VMware options click edit Machine and then click the CPU tab. Then look underneath the numbers of CPU and click the box that says "Disable Acceleration for binary Translation" Hope that helps.

i didn’t touch the setting but this poped up.
You have configured this virtual machine to use a 64-bit guest operating system. However, 64-bit operation is not possible. This host does not support longmode.
For more detailed information, see xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Continue without 64-bit support?
i click yes and it shows black.
click no and it shutoff.
and when iclick yes
black screen appears
thanx in advance
